RDA request for mentors
   

"Many of you have enjoyed the drives organised in the past by the late Priscilla Maude from Manor Farm West Overton, these drives primarily raised funds for the Driving for Disabled Group based at the Farm, and I am pleased to say that in 2008 there will be another drive. The attached plea from Raine Green is self explanatory so I hope that if you happen to live near one of the RDA members requiring help that you will do your best to support them."

MENTORS WANTED

The RDA Carriage Driving group at West Overton are training a number of their helpers as able bodied whips.  Unfortunately none of them own their own driving ponies or carriages, so progress is slow.

If any BDS members were able to offer “rein time” to a near-by trainee it would be hugely appreciated.

The trainees live at Beckhampton, Horton, Hilcott, Mildenhall, Fyfield, Winterbourne Basset, Chippenham, Hilperton and Erlestoke.
